In Windows, you have two choices of how to obtain ITK.
You can choose between two versions of ITK:


Option 1: Download a release version of the source code. A release version has been marked as "approved and working" by the community. Simply download the latest release (e.g. InsightToolkit-4.1.0.zip) from the [http://itk.org/ITK/resources/software.html download page] and unzip it. You now have the ITK source code!

Option 2: Download the [[ITK/Getting_Started/Obtain/Windows/Git|very latest version]] of the source code.
