| Description | I looked at the cdash.log file from last ngiht and I noticed: [2009-03-06T05:45:59] (ctest_parse): error: could not create handler based on xml content [2009-03-06T05:49:08] (ctest_parse): error: could not create handler based on xml content Any idea what this could mean and how to track this down? Can CDash send email notification messages about errors like this to the CDash adminstrator? I worry that errors can be occuring on CDash that might effect what results get reported and the only way to determine that is to manually search through and grep the cdash.log file. I have marked this as a 'major' issue assuming some real results are getting dropped in these XML parse errors (but I have no way of knowing that or not yet). If no results are getting dropped then this is a 'minor' issue and should marked as such in this issue report. However, if no results are getting dropped then the message in the log should say 'warning' instead of 'error'. If this really is an 'error', then we need to get this resolved. | ||||||||

We have added an option 'Email administrator' in the project. If an XML submission fails and the option is turned ON then an email is sent to the administrator. |
