Summary | 0008127: Prevent spamming
Description | Cdash uses the cvs/svn login to detect to who it is supposed to send emails. At the same time, it uses this information to create links on the "files changes" pages. Like here: http://www.cdash.org/CDash/viewUpdate.php?buildid=215843 [^] The problem is these pages can be scanned by spam robots. To prevent that, a user should have the option to not expose his/her email to the "files changes" pages.

Email can only be seen if the user is logged in, that's the first step. I have also disable the email on cdash.org to prevent spamming. Having an option for the user is a good idea. |
