Summary | 0013240: update documentation for FindPythonLibs.cmake |
Description | A CMake user approached me with the problem that they couldn't change which installed version of Python was picked up by CMake. This is actually possible, but they were confused because the variables mentioned in the documentation do not include the ones that you actually need to change (the cache variables). |
Steps To Reproduce | N/A |
Additional Information | Attached is a patch to update the documentation, informing users on how to change which installed version of Python is found by CMake. |

# The Python_ADDITIONAL_VERSIONS variable can be used to specify a list of
# version numbers that should be taken into account when searching for Python.
# You need to set this variable before calling find_package(PythonLibs).

+# If you'd like to specify the installation of Python to use, you should modify

+# PYTHON_LIBRARY - path to the python library
+# PYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR - path to where Python.h is found
