Summary0008870: Cannot create a project
DescriptionHI Testing current svn, tried firefox on linux, osx and XP, also safari on OSX. I cannot click the next button (triangle graphic) when truing to create a project. I tried filling out many parameters all different ways to no avail.

Trying this as our current 1.2 version with loads of data (well 209Mb database) seemed to loose all data - could not show anything for our project.

And as an aside - brilliant project thanks very much.

Strange, did you upgrade the database by going into the maintenance menu? I would recommend to backup your current database or make a copy. Note that we are releasing CDash 1.4 in a week or so, if you want to wait for a stable release.

Yes I tried that and also creating a completely new database (and import) etc. Neither of which worked. I will wait on 1.4 gladly. In the meantime I have a new setup for testing so am happy to try out anything you want.

The original error seemed to be the project lost all its data - the database tested ok with mysqlcheck -ce but I could never get the upgrade db to work even leaving it for several hours.

That would explain it. Could you send me your cdash.log (in the backup directory)? so I can try to track down the issue. We have upgraded one of our server (3+GB database) without any issues. Are you using MySQL or PgSQL?

Unfortunately I have deleted the cdash.log whilst trying loads of stuff, sorry about that, typical rush job today ! But even a new clean build I still get the error of not being able to create a project.

The project is at dash2.maidsafe.net

Your welcome to try it yourself with the details above - its a new install - empty. I have made admin and administrator. Please let me knwo if you complete your test if at all and I can remove this user
