0008448: cannot set CVS/SVN ViewerURL - CDash SVN trunk

I'm running CDash from the latest SVN trunk as of this morning,
revision 1375. I've updated a few times over the past week. I'm not sure which update led to this issue.

Sometime recently, the ViewVC links on the error and warning pages
broke. It was just as if my "CVS/SVN ViewerURL" is empty.

If I go to My CDash, then Edit Project for our GEVXL project, I see
that the "CVS/SVN ViewerURL:" field is in fact empty, even though I
set it a while ago. The same goes for several other fields on this
page, like "Home URL" and "Bug Tracker URL". If I try to set the
"CVS/SVN ViewerURL:" field to
"https://openge.ge.com/gf/project/vxl/scmcvs/", [^] or set any of the other
newly blank fields, and then hit "Update Project", the field just goes
blank again.

I can easily svn update at any time to test.

Should be fixed now in SVN. Let us know otherwise. Thanks for the report!

Thanks for the quick fix. Works now for Home URL and CVS/SVN ViewerURL, and the links on the error/warning pages now work, but still not working for Bug Tracker URL or Documentation URL. Those fields still disappear.

I cannot reproduce the problem, which browser are you using? and MySQL or PGSQL?

And is it a completely fresh install? or upgrade?

I have the problem with Internet Explorer as well.

First I installed the latest release, then moved to the SVN head. I did hit "Upgrade CDash" after moving to the SVN head.

I see, you are still using CDash 1.2 (what version do you see in the footer of CDash?) that's the problem. We are going to release CDash 1.4 next week, the bug should be fixed in 1.4.

The footer says 1.5.0

This is strange then, we have installed CDash 1.5 and it works well. Could you tell me exactly the step you are doing to reproduce the problem? Thanks a lot.

Hmmm. I think this was a false alarm. Very sorry.

I definitely experienced this twice earlier.

In my htdocs dir I have CDash-1.2.1 from the release zip and CDash from SVN. I switched from the 1st to the second by changing the symbolic link cdash. Perhaps I had a web page caching issue which was giving me a file from 1.2.1 even after I moved the symlink to CDash?
