| Summary | 0005200: Colored output in cmake logs or custom targets | ||||
| Description | During compiling, cmake will by default print out colored output. It would be good if this functionality was available and documented for developers too to be used both in Makefiles and in cmake logs. On large makefiles, I find myself often wishing I could print out my custom target commands (swig, etc) in some color like yellow. And I also find myself wishing to highlight my MESSAGE( STATUS ... ) from those produced by cmake's FindXXX files somehow. I can probably embed ansi codes directly, but that's likely not portable. | ||||
