| Summary | 0012809: Create a QValidator using voUtils::parseRangeString | ||||
| Description | "parseRangeString is a utility function specialized in parsing a range. Returning an empty range for an empty string sounds like a reasonable option to me. Regarding error, I could see a parameter named “errorString” passed by reference to the function. Would also be interesting to consider the case where the entered range is Acceptable or Intermediate or Invalid. See here for details: http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7-snapshot/qvalidator.html#State-enum [^] I could also see the parseRangeString being used in custom QValidator that we could associated with a line edit. For that reason, I would think we shouldn’t make to much assumption on the way the function is used."
