Summary0010169: Installer overwrites path environment variable
DescriptionInstalling Cmake 2.8 on new machine, selected the set path for all users option. After installing fortunately noticed this before rebooting!!!!

Path was previously 1440 characters long.

This may be a nullsoft installer problem.

Suggest removing the option to have the installer update the path if not resolved before next release. In either case this should be mentioned on the website as the consequences of this can be quite alarming!

Steps To Reproduce
Additional InformationIt might only happen if the path is long!
The path is likely to be long on any development machine!!!!

Windows XP SP3
Also tried same steps on Server 2003 and had the same problem

We have had several reports of this, but have never been able to reproduce it. The long path is perhaps a clue...
