With the OpenGL2 backend being the default as of VTK 7.0, does
anyone know how a VTK-enabled program will behave with Remote
Desktop?
Remote Desktop only supports OpenGL 1.1. Will it automatically
revert to the legacy OpenGL backend?
Has anyone thought of a solution to this or are you thinking of
simply not supporting Remote Desktop?
I think the same will apply to offscreen rendering on Windows if
rendering to a bitmap (no problem if copying the back buffer to the
bitmap though).
Thanks.
