<br>Was trying to build (just C++ libraries) vtk from yesterday. Configure

seems to

<br>want to use gcc, although I have CC and cc on my SGI Indigo2.

I did set

<br>the CXX and CC variables to point to the compilers, but still gcc is

being

<br>used in the build.

<p>I didnt have to do anything regarding this in earlier verisons of VTK

that I built.

<br>Has something changed in the configure scripts?
