The newer G4 class of PPC systems will ship with 1 and 4+ processor configurations. They will be $$$ to say the least. Also, OS X will ship with built-in support for OpenGL. One less thing for us to worry about.

I for one would like to see a legitimate version on VTK run on the Mac with it's own OS. [suppress Mac elitist comments here]
