[vtkusers] Extract polylines from the surface

David,

This example shows you how to get part of the way there:

http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx/Meshes/BoundaryEdges

It will extract all the boundary edges, though, not just the yellow edge.
