Hi Bill,

Thank you for your answer.

I checked the vtkGeoProjection. The description says 'Represent a projection
from a sphere to a plane'. Is this used only for geographic coordinate
projections? can it be modified for other purposes as well? Could you please
point me to a good example for this?

Regards,

Divya

Look at the classes in VTK's GeoVis modules.

Dear VTK user,

Can a conic projection of an image be performed in vtk. Is there an existing
function in the VTK library which already supports this or must one be
created? I need to implement the projection of a .tiff file.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Divya
