[vtkusers] Exodus: transient vs attribute data

Hi,

ExodusII files allow for transient data (data that changes with time
steps) and attribute data (data that remains constant over time and
thus is only stored once). An example of a file with transient and
attribute data is this one

VTK flawlessly reads transient data, but I couldn't get it to work for
attribute data.
Any hints here?
