Hi,

I have a lot (hundreds) of spatial xyz points that I
would like to connect using a straight line or spline within ParaView 3.12 for Windows
7 64bit. It would be nice to
do this without having to manually insert the coordinates into the line or spline source tools. This is probably a really easy python programmable
source or filter script, but I am a real novice with python, any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Currently the xyz points are stored in comma
delimited text files. The CVS reader (source)
example (http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/Here_are_some_more_examples_of_simple_ParaView_3_python_filters)
takes care of importing the points, but not connecting them.
