well, you can do it by setting the opacity display option in ParaView. In
VTK library (not in the file format) there should be something similar.

cheers

Renato.

Assunto: [vtkusers] HOW TO ADD TRANPARENCY OPTION TO VTK FILE

Dear friends,
I use VTK-legacy file format

# vtk DataFile Version 3.0
name
ASCII
DATASET POLYDATA
POINTS ---- float
-----
.
.
.

POLYGONS n m
------
-----

SO IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE THIS OBJECT TRANSPARENT BY ADDING SOMETHING ON
THIS SET OF DATA ? I DON'T WANT TO USE PARAVIEW SURFACE-WIREFRAME OPTION. I
WANT THIS OBJECT TO MAKE TRANSPARENT WITH A COMMAND. IS IT POSSIBLE ?

REGARDS,

TUGCAN
