[vtkusers] Can you help me with Visualization Toolkit ???

Hi,
  I have read you question and the answer for "how to get outline from CT images". I'm learning Image Processing. I want to know more about the VTK library to make the pictures to polylines. Can you help me to achive this library? If you have any document tutorial for VTK? can you share with me? expecialy the two books : "The Visualization Toolkit User's Guide" and "Professional Training Courses" or any ebooks,
