[vtkusers] Printself on WinXp + VTK_USE_ANSI_STDLIB crashing

Hi there, today's problem is as follows: i'm running vtk on a WinXp 
machine and i compiled with VTK_USE_ANSI_STDLIB turned on, and every 
call to ->PrintSelf(cout, *indent) results in a runtime 
error...searching the list archives, i found a post from back in 2002 
saying that PrintSelf won't work on Win32 with VTK_USE_ANSI_STDLIB...is 
there any workaround to make this work or the only solution is to 
recompile vtk turning VTK_USE_ANSI_STDLIB off?
