[vtkusers] AMR DataSets

Dear All,
I want to know to what limit the current version of VTK  support AMR
Datasets?
I'm using vtm file format to compose a set of vtu files , each one of them
represent the unstructured cube elements in a  layer of the AMR hierarchical
data(contain the cubes which has no childs in this layer), I don't know is
this correct or not ?

All what i need is to extract isosurface from an AMR unstructured grid
without cracks , can any one help?

i can't write HDF5, cause i couldn't found  any document to support how can
i write my AMR data as unstructured grid in HDF5 File .
