[vtkusers] installing vtk with java

im using winXP, i am compiling from teh source code. when i turn the java 
wrapper on i get the following error:

Error: 'C:\J2SDK1.4.2_04\LIB\JAWT.LIB' contains invalid OMF record, type 
0x21 (possibly COFF)

if i turn teh tcl wrapper on i get a similar error for tcl. what does this 
mean. i have java 1.4.2.04 installed.
