Dear Mr.Liu,
Thanks a lot for your advice.
Frankly, I am not familiar with 3D graphics. I just know that vtkSurfaceReconstructionFilter can produce the surface of a 3D object according to the manual document of VTK. However, I don't understand how this vtk class works and how to get the number of volumes included in the meshed 3D object. Could you tell me which vtk filter is able to mesh the 3D object using those unorganized points in 3D space and provide information of volume elements? Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
HQH

  Hi,
I do not know if the vtkSurfaceReconstructionFilter can help, but first mesh the 3D object and then compute all the volumes of the elements in the mesh will help you solve this question. Hope it help.
