[vtkusers] VS: ÄvtkusersÅ Performance of 2DMapping

I apologize for these multiple messages, there was some kind of lag. I got
DG's message first. I apologize also my unintelligence ;), but I didn't get
whole picture from your last sentence:

"The main reason for using the 2D functions is that the image is never
resampled if it can't fit into texture memory (or interpolated etc etc)." 

So what happens when you use 3D mode, corrupted image?
