[vtkusers] mouse interaction

can some one please tell me how to capture mouse interactions? i wrote 
vtkhandleMessage() and SetParentID(), and now I want to scale my object by 
pressin left mouse button, but i couldn't succeed it, how must i implement 
onLButton()?
