[vtkusers] how to identify the orientation

thank you very much. the vtkProbeFilter will do my job.

then another question is comming. how can i know the current orientation of the volume after a serie of rotiations? 

i think there is one solution. initially create a plane with proper normal. all the rotations do the same way to the plane. when i need the orientation, i can get the normal of the plane. Are there any natural solutions?
