How to set/pick obj interactively

Hi ALL:

  Suppose I have a graphic window, how can I do the 

following:

1. Move mouse and click the botton in the graphic

   region, and then mark a text in that point.

2. Say, I have a mesh in the graphic, how can I do

   to select a vertex and drag it to another position.

   After the point changing position, the mesh is

   also regenerated?
