Hi, I'm rendering medical surfaces, a bit like in chapter 13
of the book. I'm doing it with vtkMarchingCubes.

I'd like to know which performance is better, that of Marching cubes or that
of raycasting (volume rendering). In my case, the speed is not extremely
important, as I do the segmentation and the visualization in different steps
(is it possible to extract the surface of a volume with te raycast method
and then transform it and save it as polygonal data?).

Thanks,

Ana
