Establishing a firm dashboard baseline was the last thing keeping us from merging in fixes to 5.10.</div>

Based on what is reported on VTK wiki, my understanding is that VTK 5.10.x patch release are planned at some point to support newer platforms and compilers. See [1]<br>

I would suggest the following workflow:<br>

(1) Contribute (conservative) patches on VTK gerrit<br>
</div>
(2) When patch have been accepted and integrated, they will be integrated it into SlicerVTK forks<br>
<br>

If there a sense of urgency, (1) and (2) could be done in parallel. <br>
<br>
</div>
That said, Dave DeMarle (cc'ed) also mentioned [2] that patches to support MacOSX 10.9 wouldn't be accepted [2]
