Dear list -

I submitted a bug report a while back about incorrect functionality in vtkFixedPointVolumeRayCastMapper when using >1 thread (http://www.vtk.org/Bug/view.php?id=13420)

The issue is now closed with resolution 'fixed' in version 6.0.0. I have just installed version 6.0.0, and call the above function with threads=64. However I get the warning

vtkFixedPointVolumeRayCastMapper (0x7ffdbe352010): Number of threads 64 is > 1. This class does not produce repeatable results when the number of threads exceeds 1.

Is this an incorrect warning and the functionality is really fixed, or does the problem still remain? The images I'm producing look ok, but this issue affects different renderings in different ways, and so isn't always immediately obvious.

Thanks, Jim
