It is not the files that are the problem.<br>
I removed the Instantiator*.obj files and everything worked.<br>
Perhaps because these are generated files, dev studio does not compute
depend information<br>
for them.<br>

<dd>I had the same problem. It would seem that the VC++ 6
dependency stuff is not that good.
<dd>I am also getting ESP errors. I think tonight I will
delete the build tree and start over.
<dd>CMake does not do any dependency checking for MS project files,
because it is supposed
<dd>to be done automatically. Even if we wanted to, there
would be no place to put the
<dd>depend information in the dsp file. <br>

<dd>I had a series of problems lately with link errors in building VTK.
This in under VC++ 6. The scenario seems to be after I do a cvs update
(with a fairly lengthy time between updates).</font>

<dd>I end up getting link errors for the standard libraries (Imaging,
Rendering, etc.) with multiply defined symbols. If I compile the
Instantiator* files by hand I can then link fine.</font>
<dd> <font size=2>
<dd>So it looks to me that Instantiator files are either not being
regenerated or they do not have a dependency properly
determined.</font>
