<p>We are currently hiring <b>x-ray / (CB)CT imaging experts</b> to strengthen our <b>imaging core division</b>.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><b>Main tasks within the imaging core division</b>, depending on your detailed profile, are:</p>
<ul>
<li>System characterization / phenomenological description of effects in x-ray imaging and CBCT reconstruction</li>
<li>Continuous x-ray-based imaging calibration pipeline enhancements and commissioning of medPhoton devices</li>
<li>Prototyping, development and testing of software filters and components for the x-ray and CBCT reconstruction imaging chain</li>
<li>Help to shape new innovations of our imaging technology (e.g. 4D, iterative reconstruction, new artefact suppression technologies) in workshops, experiments, discussions and daily work life</li>
</ul>

<p><b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Desired skills and expertise</span></b></p>
<p> </p>
<p>We expect the following <b>qualifications</b> from our you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Innovation spirit and commitment to the exciting field of medical x-ray imaging, image reconstruction and image processing</li>
<li>Good physics understanding of x-ray technology and CBCT / CT reconstruction</li>
<li>Capability to prototype and develop software for x-ray image calibration and reconstruction algorithms for use in medical products (C++, Matlab or similar)</li>
<li>Ideally longer-term research or business experience in x-ray / (CB)CT imaging</li>
<li>German skills are a plus, but not necessarily required</li>
</ul>

Remarkably, we are tightly integrated with the <b>institute for research and development of advanced radiation technologies (radART)</b> of the Paracelsus Medical University.</p>

<p>MedPhoton provides <b>hardware medical devices for X-Ray and CBCT imaging</b> (e.g. the ImagingRing System), but also comprehensive OEM and end user <b>medical software</b> for <b>image acquisition, reconstruction, visualization, processing (such as image registration / segmentation) and robotic in-room workflow control </b>in radiation therapy to our worldwide business and research partners (e.g. Accuray Inc, Mevion, Pronova Solutions, MGH Boston, Maastro Clinics, Creatis, MedAustron and many more).</p>
