<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div>Hi Dennis,<br><br></div>I can answer part of your question. The block number is the index in a pre-order traversal of the tree of blocks in the dataset. The root is element 0, its first child is 1, that block's first child (or if none, the root's second child) is 2 and so on.
