<p>thanks for your answer, indeed that solved the problem. That's
weird that the graphics processor was the wrong one. As far as I
remembered the graphics processor was the good one before. It
solved the FXAA (black box) and opacity issues.</p>

by a known bug in 5.4.0 with some graphics
hardware that we are trying to fix in 5.4.1. Can
you let us know what your gpu is? Also try 5.3
