Dear all,

I am working with flow simulations giving me output in the form of velocity fields as vtu/pvd-files that I load and view in paraview. I want to do some animations to visualize the flow, and have so far been using the "Save Animation" feature, saving a selection
of png-snapshots from which I then build videos.

A problem I have is that I would like to rescale the color bar for each time step individually. As of now, I have to choose a color set, with which all timesteps in the time series are saved.

So, is there a way to prompt paraview to rescale to data range for each timestep saved in save animation? I've found some info here (

I cant' seem to get a hold of it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I though perhaps by some Python-scripting?
