Regarding netCDF, Berk has pointed you to the right page - and by
coincidence, I've just received a wad of netCDF data to look at myself,
so I'll be working on it in at the moment. I should point out that my
code has become a bit messy because I have been supporting, climate
data, oceanographics data, particle data and some other strange stuff
that is compatible with openDX readers - this has made the gui a bit
strange and with lots of options that are meaningless to some users etc.<br>

I plan on producing a cleaner class and using multiple gui interfaces
(one per domain as it were) to simplify things.<br>

Question for Berk etc. Is there a way of using the same *.nc file
extension with 4 different readers for example and allowing the user to
select which one gets used. Usually, the fist one on the list of xml
readers gets called regardless. If this now works, then all is well.<br>
