<DIV></DIV>Quadric Clustering only applies to Polygonal datasets.
Volumetric Datasets cannot be decimated via the Quadric Clustering
algorithm. Using the Extract Surface simply extracts a polygonal outer
surface from your volume which is why you're then able to use it. <BR><BR><BR>
