<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I'm thinking about using a data-server
/ render-server architecture for visualization on Blue Gene. &nbsp; &nbsp;I've
been fiddling with a BG port - its a bit problematic for several reasons
- its necessarily a cross-compile and all linking must be done statically
- and right now its foundering on a lack of X11 libraries. &nbsp; Does
anyone know if its possible to build a data server <i>without</i> X11 libs?
&nbsp;Or, if not, whether a data server built with stubbed X11 might be
made to work? &nbsp;</font>
