In order to keep the ParaView build as simple as possible, the only CMake
parameter I changed was CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX (the path prefix for
installing ParaView). I used CMake 2.2.3. I don't have any other
suggestions.

I cant seem to find anything wrong with the cmake file.

I am going to reinstall the paraview source v2.4.3 (only the source, not
the installer) and use the CMake v2.2 as the compiler. Any other
suggestions before i proceed?

Thanks, Shawn

I've attached the CMakeCache.txt file from my build.

PS Apologies if you receive this twice. I'm re-sending it (with
Shawn's CMakeCache.txt removed) because the mailing list said the
original version was too large.

The only thing i could see is that there may be an issue with a cmake
variable. Would it be possible to see a copy of your CMakeCache.text
file? Any major discrepencies i can try to adjust. I have included my
CMakeCache as well.

Hi Shawn,

I just finished trying to reproduce the problem on a machine here
that has VS 6.0 installed. I used ParaView 2.4.3 instead of the CVS
version, but I could not the problem you describe; when I ran the INSTALL
target, it completed with no errors.

What version of Visual Studio are you using, and which patch release

of ParaView 2.4 are you trying to install? I just tried to
reproduce

the behavior you describe using ParaView version 2.4 from CVS

(includes some changes since the 2.4.3 patch release), but the

INSTALL target ran with no problems using Visual Studio .NET 2003. We
