<div>Hello, </div> <div> </div> <div>I tried to run paraview which was compiled with mpich. I noticed that cpu usage on paraview data servers (pvserver) is always around 99% even though no data processing at all. Only the first pvdataserver's cpu usage was reasonable(where I started the mpirun command).</div> <div> </div> <div>Why did that happen? Does that mean paraview is not working properly on all paraivew data servers.</div> <div> </div> <div>I have four nodes to be used as paraview data server.</div> <div>Command I used on the first paraview data server: <STRONG><EM>host1</EM></STRONG></div> <div><STRONG><EM># mpirun -np 4 -machinefile hostsfile /opt/paraview path/pvserver</EM></STRONG></div> <div><STRONG><EM></EM></STRONG> </div> <div>Commad I used on client node: client1</div> <div><STRONG><EM>#//opt/paraview path/pvclient -sh=host1</EM></STRONG></div> <div><STRONG><EM></EM></STRONG> </div> <div>After these
commands, message "client connected" was showed on host1 and paraview GUI was successfully opened on client node.</div> <div> </div> <div>Did I do something wrong?</div> <div> </div> <div>BTW, I tried to start pvdataserver, pvrenderserver and pvclient on different server,</div> <div>On client node, I run command:</div> <div>#<EM><STRONG>pvclient -sh=host1 -rsh=host5</STRONG></EM> </div> <div>Only pvdataserver reported "client connected", pvrenderserver was waiting with no response. What should I do with this?</div> <div> </div> <div>Thanks.</div> <div>Eric</div><p>
