[Paraview] ANN: ParaView 4.0.1 is available for download

Both version will work.

The version ParaView-4.0.1-Darwin-64bin.dmg works on Leopard, Snow Leopard,
Lion and Mountain Lion, but it is using Python 2.6 from the system.
In some use case Python 2.6 may not be enough and users may want to rely on
a 2.7 version.
If so, they should download ParaView-4.0.1-Lion-Python27-64bit.dmg,
although this version will only work on Lion and Mountain Lion when Python
2.7 was introduced.

The reason for that new "Lion-Python27" version is for ParaViewWeb which
seems to have an issue with Python 2.6 due to the twisted library that we
are using...
