[Paraview] Process pvserver CPU intensive; way to stop?

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to stop pvserver process from running (while running ParaView) as it is very CPU intensive and can slow down my notebook considerably. I only need to use ParaView for scientific data visualisation of OpenFOAM and other CFD. Is there anyway of shutting it down without causing ParaView to shutdown as well?
