[Paraview] plot3D file from FDS to Paraview

Has anyone been able to load plot3D files produced by FDS into Paraview
under Mac OSX 10.5.6?

 

I added the 'WRITE_XYZ=.TRUE.' statement to the &DUMP line in the FDS
module, which generates a binary *.xyz file. However, when attempting to
load that file into Paraview it fails to recognize any of the results
data.

 

Before posting files and error messages, I am just wondering whether
anyone is using Paraview to visualize FDS results and how!?
