I have a short question too... I am would like to try it the
other way around.
Would it be possible to use paraview vtk installation to
write some vtk (e.g. using tcl) programs without an
installation of an separate VTK installation? Right now, I
think it should be possible to set the vtk path to paraviews
directory and all should be fine; at least with linux!?

Greetings!
Fabian
