[Paraview] Linking Paraview with already installed libraries

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to compile Paraview 2.4.4 without building VTK, hdf5, and
TclTk: those libraries are already installed on my system (which is a
Debian sarge box) and I don't want to install another copy just for
Paraview.
I saw that there's a CMake switch to use "system hdf5", and thus tried
to modify the main CMakeLists.txt so that something similar is in place
for VTK and TclTk too.
Unfortunately, no luck so far.

Could you please help me to reach this goal?

If you'd like to see which tries I already did, don't hesitate to ask...
