[Paraview] paraview file-formats

Hi all,

I use paraview to postprocess the results obtained with our home-made CFD
software using the VTK file format.

Due to the size of the files (even if i write binary) i need to split the
results in several files.

1 - It is necessary to write the geometry in each VTK file (for example one
contains the temp, other the vel & turbulence, other the species and so on)
? If i write a different file for each property or group of flow
properties it seems i can not color a isosurface of a flow variable
according to another flow properties from another file (i.e. temp isosurface
with co2 concentrations)

2 - What file-type i need to use in order to write the geometry only once
and have the flow properties in different vtk files?

Thanks a lot

Adi
