<div dir="ltr">Hi folks,<div><br></div><div>ParaView is being used for live analysis and visualization of running simulations though the Catalyst coprocessing library, and until now it was necessary to copy the simulation dataset into a VTK container so that it could be used in a pipeline. This essentially doubled the memory requirements for the dataset when coprocessing is used.</div>
<div><br></div><div>New work in VTK allows external memory to be used with a VTK dataset interface. The new classes and methods that make this possible are described on the Kitware blog:</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/577">http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/577</a><br>
