Hi,

With ParaView 4.0 being officially released and ParaView Catalyst 1.0 almost ready to go, I'm sending out the ParaView Catalyst User's Guide for those that have been waiting for it. ParaView Catalyst is the extension of what was previously the co-processing library inside of ParaView. The tools are for running in situ analysis and visualization for numerical simulations. The user's guide is divided into 3 main sections: one for simulation users, one for simulation developers and one for people responsible for building and distributing simulation codes.

To complete the first official release of ParaView Catalyst, In the near future we will:

Release ParaView Catalyst libraries which give a reduced library for simulation codes to link to

Update the wiki (catalyst.paraview.org) to be more complete

Make available a ParaView Catalyst tutorial

In the meantime, please continue to give feedback on this tool set so that we can continue to improve upon it.

Regards,

Andy
