I encountered the same isnan problem when working on CMB projects, and
here is my solution to solve the problem once for all:

```C++
#if defined (__GNUC__) && (__GNUC__ > 4) && (__cplusplus)
#  include <cmath>
using std::isnan;
#else
#  include <math.h>
#endif
```

It works fine on Ubuntu 14.04(with GCC4.8) and Ubuntu 16.04(with GCC
5.4.1). Mac and Windows are also happy with it.

Hope it helps.
