[Paraview-developers] Moving to hdf5-1.8.x

Further to my last email about 2 versions ....

We have now got our live visualization of one app writing to hdf5 and connecting to paraview reading hdf5 working well. I can send our EuroMPI paper if you're interested. for this we are using the VFD branch of hdf5 which has some tweaks that the hdf people have accepted - but won't go into hdf until 1.10.x

I'd be keen to use the VFD branch in paraview. I didn't update to that branch in my commit sent earlier, but once you're happy that all is working, I'd like to switch to it.
