MAP-Tk is the component of KWIVER for photogrammetry. This release adds support for visualization of dense 3D depth maps, a better loop closure algorithm, support for OpenCV 3, and more. This blog post gives an overview:</div><div class=""><a href="https://blog.kitware.com/map-tk-0-9-0-release-provides-dense-3d-better-loop-closure-and-opencv-3-support/" class="">https://blog.kitware.com/map-tk-0-9-0-release-provides-dense-3d-better-loop-closure-and-opencv-3-support/</a></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><div class="">See the release notes and installer packages are here:</div><div class=""><a href="https://github.com/Kitware/maptk/releases/tag/v0.9.0" class="">https://github.com/Kitware/maptk/releases/tag/v0.9.0</a></div><div class=""><br class=""></div></div><div class="">The new features in the MAP-Tk v0.9.0 plugins have already been copied over into the recently refactored KWIVER repository and called “arrows”. Vital has also moved into KWIVER. Very shortly we will update the MAP-Tk master branch to remove the plugins and build against KWIVER instead of the standalone Vital repository. Going forward, most of the algorithms, libraries, plugins, etc. will live in KWIVER where they can be shared across applications more easily. MAP-Tk will continue to contain the GUI application and tools targeted toward photogrammetry.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">If you have questions, please send them to <a href="mailto:kwiver-users@public.kitware.com" class="">kwiver-users@public.kitware.com</a>.</div></body></html>
